As you know, many people have come to Hate HOAs and their control and intrusion into the lives of hard working people.
I’ve noticed on the internet many people want to get rid of their Association, but don’t know how, or if they do, it is nearly impossible, but Not Totally Impossible.
There IS An Answer that many people have not thought about. Though not simple, it is do-able. I got the idea from our politicians in Washington. When you can’t totally get rid of something
You do the next best thing and that is to De-Fund it. Many in our HOA hate the Association, Our HOA BoD is in the process of changing the CC&Rs to comply with Davis / Stirling, but is filled with more and more controlling regulations.

The membership has to vote to accept or reject the new CC&R and Bi-Laws, therefore, instead of just rejecting their changes, we’ve come up with our own version which Guts the CC&Rs and virtually De-Funds the HOA (just like politicians do in Washington when they can’t get rid of something, they de-fund it) and takes away all Rules and Regs with no fines and no assessments. Turn the roads over to the county and live like normal FREE people.
